Eggs

If you're not into eating artificial protein such as Whey. There's a delicious alternative you can eat to get your protein intake after a workout. An egg! While some people have their likes and dislikes about eggs, they are packed with protein and are very good for you! The best part about eggs is there are so many ways in which you can eat them. You can enjoy eggs hard boiled, scrambled, poached, or even sunny side up!

You can also enjoy eggs with a variety of sides! Some people like to eat their eggs with avocados which contain a great source of fat your body craves after a workout. Another side such as bread is a perfect way to fuel your body with carbs. You can also complement your bread with any type of spread. Some favorites are butter, jelly, peanut butter, and almond butter.

Schuylkill River Trail

The Schuylkill River Trail is the perfect place for runners. The trail is 10 miles in length and is located in between the Fairmount Water Works and Locust Street. You can walk, run, or even ride your bike. Not only can you get fresh air while getting a good workout, you get great water views too!

Everyone has their own workout preferences but multiple studies have shown that working out outdoors is better for you. Some benefits include, easier breathing and better muscle engagement. Working out indoors is easier on the joints and muscles, which is why some people choose this option. Indoors or outdoors, as long as you're getting a workout in, it doesn't matter!

The Color Black

Black is the color of choice people choose to wear when working out. Black is the best color to disguise sweat. We've all made the mistake of wearing lighter colored shirts or pants and sweating right through them. Most people choose black to save themselves the embarrassment of sweat marks.

Black not only makes people look sleek, it makes the body look slimmer as well. While some can strut bright colored workout clothes, most people have to stick to black. Some save their bright colored workout gear for daily athleisure. While it might not be the most interesting color, it's okay because everyone looks good in it!

Protein

Good old protein! When we think of fitness one thing that doesn’t seem to slip our minds is protein. Whether it’s consumed before or after workouts, it's used to either give us energy or aid in building muscle after a workout. Protein comes in pre-made shakes, bars, and powders. You can easily purchase any of these options at the super market or at your nearest vitamin store.

Most protein options contain Whey in them, but for the super health buffs, there are other options such as plant based proteins. Plant based proteins are also great for people who don't eat dairy or don't like the taste of Whey. While it might seem overrated at times, protein is essential for people who want to see results in muscle development and energy levels.
